e serve the greater Dallas, TX region as a state licensed, Medicaid certified home care agency. Our aides travel to the homes of our neighbors in the Texas counties of Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Denton, and Cooke. The most defining feature of Best Care's service is trustworthiness. Below we share a few specifics, but we appreciate the opportunity to tell you more in person, at the place and time of your choosing.
Medicaid Pays 100%
Everyday, we see how home care services change lives for the better, often in ways that our clients never expected. Knowing how valuable home care can be, we strive to make the service affordable to as many of our neighbors as possible. This is why our agency maintains participates in Texas Medicaid Waiver programs. For qualified clients, Medicaid will pay up to 100% of the bill for home care. Best Care Home Health Agency also works with private pay and long-term care insurance.
Nurse-Supervised Care
Our clients enjoy the comfort and convenience afforded by personal aide services, but client health and safety also rank at the top of our priorities. This is why our agency has a registered nurse meet with every family to collaborate on a customized service plan. A registered nurse will also review the weekly notes of your aide and be available for immediate health consultation. The nurse also tests the training of every aide upon hire and annually. Your nurse also periodically checks on you. This includes an in-home visit at least every sixty days to ensure that aide services are living up to your standards and ours.
Industry-Leading Employment Standards
Our agency's trustworthiness stems in part from employment standards that exceed all state and federal requirements. The caregivers we send to you serve as the core of our service, so their character and qualifications stay at the center of our focus. All aides meet the following qualifications and more:
- Valid CNA certificate (Certified Nursing Assistant). This verifies two things. One, that the CNA has successfully completed an approved training program. That training includes taking vital signs, safe mobility assistance, infection control, special diets, and much more. The current CNA certificate also means that we can verify with the state board of nursing that there are no complaints lodged against the individual.
- Multiple interviews before hiring.
- Fingerprint background checks. Thorough ADP background checks.
- More than ten hours of Best Care's pre-service training to ensure that every aide knows how to interact with our systems and provide excellent customer service.
- Thorough reference checks from previous employers. Anything other than a positive reference is not acceptable.
- We equip all aides with customer service tablets. These tablets allow for more efficient sharing of information with the office and more reliable uploading of care notes. They ensure that aides are able to communicate directly with clients and their family members according to each client's preferences. Moreover, the tablets employ an advanced scheduling system with GPS verification. The office is alerted if an aide is ever off schedule so we can make necessary arrangements to ensure your needs are being met.
